Overview

  KN-5Z Automatic Needle Penetration for Bitumen conforms to ASTM D5 Standard Test Method for Penetration of Bituminous Materials. The tester is used for determining the penetration of semi solid and solid bituminous materials. the penetrator provides for the determination of penetrations up to 500. The penetration test is used as a measure of consistency. Higher values of penetration indicate softer consistency.

1. The tester is composed of laser detection system, electric lifting systems, LCD, thermostatic water bath and other parts, with integrated design;

2. Detection mode: Automatic detection of the penetration value, adopts laser non-contact detection, no need to manually adjust the tip of the needle to accurately place on the surface of the sample.
