Overview

KN-6278 Apparatus for Shear Stability of Polymer Containing Fluids conforms to ASTM D6278 Standard Test Method for Shear Stability of Polymer Containing Fluids Using a European Diesel Injector Apparatus. This test method evaluates the percent viscosity loss for polymer-containing fluids resulting from polymer degradation in the high shear nozzle device. The thermal or oxidative effects are minimized.

1. Bosch pump with nozzle and atomizing chamber

2. Bosch type axial nozzle injector with a filter cartridge in the nozzle holder

3. The spherical condenser is equipped with a cooling jacket to allow heat to be transferred to the surface of the cooling jacket wall
